Materijali koje biramo za svoj dom nisu samo stvar ukusa – oni oblikuju atmosferu, pričaju priču o vrednostima koje negujemo i tiho govore o tome šta za nas znači udobnost, lepota i trajnost. U Martinov Designu, svaki komad nameštaja počinje izborom materijala, jer verujemo da upravo u njima leži duša enterijera.
Drvo je, za nas, mnogo više od sirovine. To je materijal koji ima život, pamti godišnja doba, nosi toplinu sunca i miris šume. Njegova tekstura je neponovljiva – nijedan komad nije isti, jer nijedno drvo ne raste na isti način. Kada biramo puno drvo za sto, komodu ili policu, mi biramo autentičnost. Taj osećaj pod prstima, kada pređete dlanom preko glatko obrađene površine, donosi mir i povezanost sa prirodom. Drvo unosi toplinu, mekoću i tihi karakter koji se ne može zameniti veštačkim materijalima.
Keramika, sa druge strane, predstavlja savremenost, preciznost i eleganciju. Laminam keramika, koju najčešće koristimo, nastaje u procesu visoke tehnološke obrade prirodnih sirovina i donosi vrhunsku otpornost, sofisticiran izgled i trajnost. Njene površine – bilo matirane ili sjajne – reflektuju svetlost i stvaraju vizuelnu ravnotežu u prostoru. Keramika je jednostavna za održavanje, ne menja oblik, ne upija tečnost, i zadržava svoj izgled godinama.
Kombinacijom drveta i keramike stvaramo komade koji su istovremeno topli i postojani, prirodni i savremeni. To su spojevi koji ne prate prolazne trendove, već stvaraju prostor u kojem živimo sa više pažnje i osećaja.
Jer iza svakog materijala stoji priča – a naša je da je slušamo, oblikujemo i pretočimo u nameštaj koji traje.
